Robert Mulcahy
Robert has been sailing since childhood, racing a variety of dinghies and progressing to offshore racing and eventually a circumnavigation with the Whitbread Round the World Race. He spent thirteen years building Oyster Brokerage Ltd to be the professional and successful company it became, selling the world-renowned range of Oyster blue water cruising yachts. During this time he gained an unrivalled in-depth knowledge and experience of all aspects the yachting industry with global clients. Through his involvement with various marine industry trade associations, Robert has established a reputation for integrity and professionalism in both the UK and Europe. Since forming Robert Mulcahy Yachts LLP, he is now working as an independent broker, offering yacht buyers and sellers bespoke advice on all aspects of the sale or purchase of a pre-owned yacht.
Robert has served as President and Chairman of: ABYA (Association of Brokers and Yachts Agents), BRBA (Boat Brokers and Retailers Association) and YBDSA (Yacht Brokers Designers and Surveyors Association) as well as being a long serving committee member at the BMF (British Marine Federation).
